Georgia Bulldogs Prepare to Host No. 22 Mississippi State in Key SEC Matchup
Update 5:06pm EST: STARKVILLE — An illness is running through Mississippi State basketball right now. It has forced some players to miss practice this week, coach Chris Jans revealed on Thursday.
He initially referred to it as “the crud” but later confirmed it as an illness.
Jans did not specify which players sat out of practice.
“Not feeling well, just under the weather, if you will,” he said. “When it happens on a team, it’s like a baton and you kind of pass it, and then hopefully it stops. It hasn’t been anything major, major, but we’ve had some kids that had to miss some practices this week because of just not feeling well enough to go.”
Athens, Ga. – The Georgia Bulldogs men’s basketball team is set to face the No. 22 Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday, February 8, at Stegeman Coliseum. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM ET.
