Christians believe that, just as a chick breaks out of its shell to begin anew, Jesus emerged from the tomb on Easter Sunday. Join New Covenant for Easter Weekend 2025

At New Covenant in Athens we are excited for a powerful weekend as we celebrate Jesus Christ’s resurrection. We encourage you to bring your family and friends to attend a performance of our Resurrection Drama on Friday, April 18th at 7:00 pm or Saturday, April 19th at 6:30 pm. Childcare will be provided for both performances.

Our Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 19th at 5:00 pm. Brings the kids out with their baskets for a fun afternoon of finding eggs, playing games, and winning prizes. And then on Sunday morning at 7:00 am, join us at the church lake for our annual Sunrise Services. This is a wonderful time to worship outdoors and celebrate the resurrection as the day begins.  Afterwards, you’re invited for a free breakfast in the Family Life Center.
