Reviews for The Georgia Museum of Art
One of the most engaging, least expensive activities in Athens. There’s so much to see! The museum has expanded its permanent collections quite a bit in the past few years, and its current exhibition (Italian Renaissance paintings) is stunningly beautiful. So much history, so much soul, so much emotion – all in one modest building! Admission is free, but when you experience all the amazing artwork you’ll definitely feel good about leaving a donation. – B. Griffis

Reviews for Athica Athens Institute
An independent non-profit gallery with interesting contemporary art by local artists. Their openings are always fun. The volunteers and staff are friendly and helpful. I like to support local art whenever I can. It is located in the warehouse district off Chase Street- a little hard to find the first time, but well worth the effort. Trains still run occasionally on the tracks outside, so be ultra aware of where you park your car and where your kids are at all times. – Cindy C.
