I don’t expect that much from Waffle House because it is Waffle House but I’ll tell you about my experience at this location. I was a customer last week and seen they needed help so I applied. I started Friday and quit Wednesday. I have a lot of experience working food service and thought I could bring something to the table with what I knew. First I applied to be a cook not a server but I wasn’t complaining . You have to start somewhere. The manager is very unprofessional. While working I can see the cook Mr. Willie is very respectful and really holds everything together and gets the job done. The Manager will step in confusing everybody which makes the wait longer for the customers. A watched a customer wait 30 minutes for something that should’ve took 10 at the most if he wouldn’t have came from the back starting confusion. I took a customers order and went to call it and he told me that my customer didn’t order that just for me to go back to the table and the customer tells me I was correct. He started yelling at me because I had one difficult customer that came up there asking to sit on the other said AFTER I took his order because he didn’t want to sit by the bathroom and the employees were splashing water from washing dishes. My first day working here I ate a waffle and it tasted sour . It was because the refrigerator they were keeping the waffle mix in wasn’t working but they continued to served that same mix to customers. Overall this Waffle House needs better management. The cooks are really what’s holding this all together

Wanted just a snack. Walked up to place order. They were understaffed. These places of business in this area are garbage, especially with hood people running them. I do not recommend. They should be shut down.

I recently visited this location and that was my last visit. The waitress named Shonda (I think) with the long snow catcher eye lashes refused to let me pay for my food with Apple Pay unless I agreed to tip her. I tip based on customer service and food quality. You can’t force someone to tip you especially if you have a bad attitude and are using profanity. So I left and went to another location. But since she wanted a tip so bad, here’s one: You can catch more bees with honey than you can with vinegar.

Establishment is okay. Most definitely need better management/staff. The cooks are the really saving them overall. Waiting staff needs a lot of work. The attitude of some of the waitresses be as if you’ve just walked into their personal kitchen without their permission & asked them to Give you food out of their refrigerator without payment! Very Unwelcoming. I was their with my children and while we’re trying to enjoy our food, the staff are very loud & using profanity while arguing. The ONLY REASON I’ve given 2 stars is because of the Cooks! Yes, the cook did make a mistake, but he corrected it without an attitude or any issues. I may give them a second chance a few months from now. Maybe by then, they’ll get rid of some of their unprofessional staff or some of them may have quit by then.

The chefs at Wafflehouse showed great customer service this morning. The hostess was busy with other customers and they came and asked me for my order . I was impressed and thankful -Mikal and Willie were fantastic!
