TJ Maxx can be great, but this one doesn't even honor their own sales. The lady at the register was rude and disrespectful. Shoppers beware, the 50% off sale does not apply to the items in the 50% off section and only applies to Christmas items. However, I would love to know what the definition of a Christmas item is, because what we were trying to buy is literally called "Santa's Bags". Is Santa no longer a part of Christmas? Perhaps there's a different Christmas I'm unaware of? The cashier blamed customers for moving things into the 50% off area, but those "customers" just so happened to be so diligent to move all their stock to the 50% off section. This wasn't the only item. Was also told the holiday tissue paper was not part of the sale either. Upon telling the cashier I wasn't buying it I was then informed I could go return the items to the sale section that isn't actually on sale. On the bright side, the things we did purchase, she couldn't figure out how to work the register so she had to check us out with two separate transactions which gives us two chances to win a $500 TJ Maxx gift card and leave two poor surveys.

I like TJ Maxx! Their home section is the bomb! They have a ton of awesome decor, & lots marked down as well. Really pretty jewelry options too- & a lot! Purses/bags, & beauty/makeup as well. This will be a regular spot for me. They don't seem to have a lot of staff- so checking out was a little bit of a process but hey! We get it!

Very bad customer service. My wife came to the store and she was treated badly by an an associate, unfortunately. The cashier was not trained on the proper customer service basics although she spent a ling time working in the store. The cashier should learn not to profile people based on their accents or physical appearance. She should not ask about where the customer is from if they have a problem with the customer’s attitude. there are better ways to handle an angry or frustrated customer. People fled to the United States to escape many forms of discrimination and they are not ready to go through the same traumatic experiences they had back where they were victimized. I felt so angry for the cashier’s treatment of my wife and I hope the store manager would address this issue in a professional manner.

Average size store but with modest collections.

Overly priced high for a discount store. I find same item I can get a Macy's using my discounts in my wallet. Store is very organized.
