December 2021 by monte neeseI retained Calhoun Pruitt for $2500.00 for a situation. I never needed an attorney and was ignorant about selecting a good one that would really defend me. During my first meeting I ask how much experience did he have in my case and he responded with none. I later conversed with people within the system and was told I needed someone with more experience. I told him I was moving my files to another firm and he said you certainly have that right but you're not getting any money back! I was shocked that he acted that way about the money and later he agreed to give some back but never did. I retained Bruce Byrholdt and he easily took care of my situation. I thought lawyers were there to help and defend in our worst times but turns out for some it's all about their pride and money. -

You would have a better chance hiring a baby dressed up in a suit taking a nap in a sound proof room than using this firm. Not only is Mr. Calhoun rude and dismissive to his clients, he does not follow through with his end of his job. I mean people have bad experience with lawyers right? And any chance they get they will bad mouth when they can right? Absolutely—and this may be it, but it’s still the truth. So if you’re looking for his services or to use this firm in general and want to waste your time and money this is the place for you, Congratulations! Please find my review of this horrible place on other platforms as well ?—OH and in the EXACT words of Mr. Calhoun “it is what it is”

December 2021 by Thomco Services LLC10 years ago my husband and I paid Pruitt to draw up a contract for land we bought from an individual to be paid for in 10 years. When we wanted to pay it off, we discovered that what was supposed to be a short term loan was written to the sellers advantage and we ended up paying almost $18,000 more than we agreed to in order to settle out. We will absolutely never do business with this attorney nor recommend him to any one that we value.
