A lovely oasis in the heart of New York city. Have an ice-cream and feed the pigeons. Really great fun. Seating available. The buildings surrounding it are impressive too.

Beautiful park. There is always something going on all year round. From concerts to the holiday village, but as nice as this park is, there are a few things to know. 1st, the good. Beautiful views. The architecture of the buildings around you is spectacular. Benches and chairs all around the park to eat your lunch when the weather is nice and there are plenty of food vendors in the park as well as around the perimeter and the usual suspects, McDonald's, Chipotle and various other eating establishments, are with walking distance, also the whole foods accross the street sells hot food to go. There are summer concerts and shows where you can bring a chair and watch from the great lawn and they set up an ice skating ring in the colder months which is a good time if you are visiting NYC. The holiday village has food vendors selling just about every type of cuisine, and it's all pretty good grub. Now the bad, there is always a huge line to use the bathrooms (insider tip, go to the whole foods across the street and buy anything. The receipt you get will have their bathroom code, and their bathrooms are always clean). If you're going to eat your lunch there and you are sitting by the ivy patches, do not put anything on the ground, including your garbage, because the rats will come out from the ivy and snatch it. They won't bother you, and you probably won't see them unless you make it easy for them to get a quick snack. Also know the chess table etiquette, there are guys that show up early in the morning and plant themselves by the chess tables and won't let you play unless you give them $5, very annoying but if you are not into chess then it's a nonfactor. But this park is definitely worth a visit, especially if there is something going on. If you go on their website, you can get a list of events. Enjoy!Restrooms: There is a restroom but there is always a long linePicnic area: Tables and chairs all around the park

Bryant Park is always nice just to sit and watch the scenery. There are a lot of vendors and plenty of tables and chairs. We enjoy stopping by here when we visit NYC.

Nice park with seating areas and carousel for kids. Lovely and peaceful atmosphere. Great for picnic or for relaxation with cup of coffee.

Nice park area behind the big library. Lots of benches and food places where you can sit at tables and eat if you care to brave the cold. Or heat, depending. Christmas time they have wonderful booths where you get to pay too dollars, plus 40%, for average clothing and average knock-knacks and WAY below average hot chocolate. Bryant Park does, however, have wonderful bathrooms on 42nd where there is a man and a woman in charge, controlling the line and mopping up after every fourth user. It's really remarkable to see. Paid bathrooms employees taking their jobs seriously and doing a wonderful job. It's the best part of Bryant Park, as far as I am concerned. This is also the place during Christmas week, 2022, where I caught a horrible case of Covid and was sick like a dog for four days. So enjoy.Playground: Nope.Restrooms: Terrific restrooomsDog-friendliness: Not here.Picnic area: Not here.

Most interesting park I visited in NYC. It's a quite serene place next to 5th Street and quite enjoyed it. Good to relax and take a look amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. If you're a Tourist, drop by here while visiting the Public Library Right next to it.

It was a bit bare due to it being March but can imagine it's so pretty in the spring / summer. Very clean public toilets too, which have a revolving loo seat cover - I'm easily pleased A?A?A?A?

Came here twice this year to go ice skating. This ice skating rink is seasonal so this review is only relevant for winter months.Price: you're only paying for skate rentals & assisted skating devices. If you have your own skates you just have to go online and reserve a time slot.Discounts: 10% off for Bank of America cardholdersSkate time: 1 hourAll ticket purchases & reservations are made online.Bathrooms: There's a bathroom available to skaters only, next to the lockers. There's another bathroom in the lodge. They have an indoor seating area (not connected to the ice skating rink) called A?A?A?A?A?A?The lodgeA?A?A?A?A?A?. The lodge has a small heated outdoor area where you could also sit at. They serve food, drinks & had a bar. If you don't want to buy food from here there are a few food vendors in the park. You can still sit at the lodge even if you don't buy food from them. The staff at the ice skating rink were good for the most part. The info booth staff & person checking tickets were extremely nice & helpful. The staff handing out skates had an attitude, makes you not want to ask them anything & they weren't very helpful with sizing will just tell you to look at the size chart. The staff on the ice is friendly. If you're coming with kids & are worried about them getting hurt, you don't need to worry too much. The skates aren't sharp enough to hurt you. They have 3 types of assisted skating devices (a snowman, a penguin & one that looks like a chair). The staff is quick to help the kids up. They're not as fast to help the adults up. If you come with a child but don't want to skate you can stand/sit on the sidelines and don't need to buy a ticket to enter with the child, they allow one chaperoning adult per child. There's a lot of seats available out & around the ice skating rink. So if you come in a large group but not everyone is skating, they can still watch you skate from outside the rink while sitting comfortably.Playground: There's no playgroundRestrooms: There's a bathroom available to skaters only, next to the lockers. There's another bathroom in the lodge.

Absolutely loved it here! The vendors were super sweet & personable!!! Lots to peruse and a bit crowded in the evening a couple weekends before Christmas. I have to say everyone in the crowd was friendly & patient. The holiday spirit was EVERYWHERE! We visited at about 10am and then returned at about 7pm to visit shops that were not yet open in the morning.
