December 2021 by Pete KulenkampMight be the most underrated gem in Charleston. Easy to walk in, excellent food without pretense. Great oysters and shooters. Knowledgeable staff who are excited about what they serve, whether cocktails or food. I had the daily fish special, monkfish, with collards and pigeon peas/rice, and I'm still obsessing over it 2 days later. The collards were rich, dark, sweet up front but then waves of salty, spicy, and bitter balanced it out. The peas were complex with warn spices, deep meat notes, and perfectly cooked with just enough tooth. On top the monkfish exterior was almost as crispy as fried chicken, with hearty flakes inside. Whoever is working in back is killing it. -

From the quality of service the moment we walked in to the expertly crafted drinks and food. My wife and I were just blown away. To top it off the manager on staff came over to check in and told us his, and the restaurants story. He was the son of the owner and had grown roots in the business since early childhood. Its just added even more charm to the magnificent experience and ambiance. A must stop in your visit to Charleston!

Tried all kinds of raw oysters samples, seafood pasta, two salads, Rockefeller baked oysters, and the fried oysters, they were all amazing. We are here twice in a row, and it has been the best restaurant we experienced during our 5-day trip

Restaurant was packed on week night so we took the bar sits. By the time table became available we didn’t even want to leave the bar and ate there . Loved the atmosphere and service. Highly recommend for authentic Charleston experience

December 2021 by Yuley GonzalezAfter walking & touring downtown Charleston, we were craving for some local Oysters & Beer. Found this GEM across the street and a block down from our Hotel. It was a busy Sunday afternoon but they had seats at the Bar with Full Menu Options. Fast Friendly service & EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Tried the Blue Point Oysters, then had Oyster Shooters - must have!!! The Clam Chowder was great! The Tuna, Grilled dolphin & crispy shrimp tacos Amazing! The Peel & eat shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning a must! Finished off with Crabcakes! Definitely Recommend!
