December 2021 by Al RiveraMy backyard in the LES always!!!... people should appreciate this landmark park, it wasn't always like this back in the day, the parks department did a great job tending it over the years and for the people that think it's not tidy enough for them, what do you expect, it's NYC... city won't pay for maintenance workers to keep it clean all day unless parks dept. step in and get the job done.

December 2021 by Ian MontenegGreat place with awesome view. You take really good pictures there. I was for the first time there before a week and i really enjoyed the view and the park. The weather was really hot so if it is the same when you go just take more water so you can cool of a bit.

I have only been inside the boat house as a volunteer (they have volunteer opportunities on Saturday if you want to help out) and enjoyed my time helping keeping the East River Park beautiful. I'd highly recommend visiting the Park if you need to get away from the city and enjoy the views along the East River. I'd also recommend volunteering if you can to ensure the park continues to be enjoyed by all New Yorkers (natives and visitors)!
