It remains a real shame that both here and up in Syracuse they chose to fill in and not better preserve the remnants of their canal history, beyond these now faded interpretive signs. At mid- to low tide there is a rocky beach where paddlers can carefully take their boards or kayaks out.

December 2021 by Omer S.I love this park. Every warm day me and my family spend time here. It is kids and dogs friendly park, what else do you want? My son loves spending time for finding stones from the river. There is plenty of space here for picnic.
