- December 2021 by Chris DuplessisI am not perfect and prone to mistakes I selected the doctor when I looked up foot doctors through Google: I phoned and appeared as a walk-in I found a doctor to be polite but very rude in her services without even inquiring how I was feeling or what was my reason for being there I didn’t really feel welcome Many claim to be caring but you can’t hide from the things that come to light within oneself...CMD

Efficient enough to schedule same day appointments but receptionist was very unprofessional and lack basic medical front office skill. My husband presented with Tricare insurance for retired military, after an hour of wait time she told him he wasn't eligible for tricare. Stating she called two tricare numbers and none she could verify him on, she let a patient walk out without even trying - gave back papers that were filled out as if it was ok to let a FULLY INSURED patient walk away. I wonder what she told the Dr., once she noticed a NEW patient LEFT! Be careful who you hire! I understand everyone deserves a chance but that was obscured.

While visiting New Orleans, I was in need of emergency foot treatment- always a scary situation when you are away from home and not with your own physician. Dr. Sheriff's receptionist was able to give me an immediate appointment on a Friday afternoon- which is unusual even when you know the doctor. Upon meeting Dr Sheriff, I was immediately at ease with her warm personality and professional skills; the end result was I could continue my vacation pain free after she treated my problem. I am very grateful!
