What is Local SEO?
Local SEO is the process of increasing your business rankings, presence, and visibility in search. More specifically, local SEO refers to your business rankings in Google Maps. map apps, and other local search vehicles.
What is indexation?
Starting with Tier 6, you get what’s called Indexation.
Indexation is the manual process of getting your citations and backlinks indexed by Google.
For example, let’s say you build 100 citations and backlinks for your business, but Google does not crawl and index those citations and backlinks. If Google doesn’t know they exist, then they are NOT attributing any value back to your website or your business.
Indexation is our process of ensuring your most authoritative citations and backlinks get indexed by Google, which unlocks the rankings power that contributes to increasing your rankings and visibility in search and across the web.
What’s the difference between Tiers?
We refer to the difference between Tiers as the equivalent of “PUNCHING THE GAS…”. But at a technical level, the difference is in the volume of citations and backlinks that we build for your business.
So the higher the Tier, the more citation distribution and backlinks we build on a monthly basis.
What happens every month?
When you first sign up, you’ll receive a “Welcome email” from us welcoming you onboard and thanking you for signing up.
Within the first 48 hours, our Account Executives will research your business information (name, address, phone #, and website URL) to identify inconsistencies. Then we’ll send you a follow up email with directions as to what we’ll be doing, and what we need you (the client) to do from this point.
Here’s an overview of the approximately the first 4 months of workflow:
Phase 1: Clean up/citation alignment (approx. first 30 days)
Phase 2: First round of citation distribution after the cleaning/alignment (approx. 45 days from the end of phase 1)
Phase 3: Google will be indexing the citations (approx. 60 days from the end of phase 2)
** Starting at Tier 7, you’ll have an onboarding phone call with our Account Executives.
What is citation distribution?
Citation distribution is a critical component to building location authority. A citation is a published version of your business data such as your business name, street address, city, state, zip code, phone #, and website URL. The “distribution” part refers to the publishing of your citation on external websites and directories. The more sites and directories we can publish your citations on, the more location authority you’ll build for your business.
We use a combination of manual processes and citation distribution partners to achieve what we refer to as “citation distribution”.
Do you provide monthly reports?
Tier 1 thru Tier 5: automated keyword ranking reports
For Tier 1 thru Tier 5, our clients receive an automated keyword ranking report that shows your Initial rankings (rankings when you first signed up) vs. your current month’s rankings. Our Tier 1 thru Tier 5 clients receive this keyword ranking email each month on the date they signed up.
Tier 6 and above: Keyword rankings + Personalized / Business Analysis
For Tier 6 and above, you’ll receive a personalized email from us each and every month where we provide what we call a Local Productivity Report. This report will show you valuable data points that are actually important to your business such as:
- phone calls
- website visits
- direction requests
- non-branded search volume
- branded search volume
- total views (impressions) in Google search
- total views (impressions) in Google Maps
Your monthly productivity report is customized for your business, and is by far the most valuable & useful Local SEO reporting out there (of course, we are bias!)
Also, Tier 6 above will have a direct link to a productivity dashboard where you’ll be able to view, in real time, your Google My Business Insights.
Do you have long term contracts?
No, we do not believe in long term contracts. Our goal is to earn our client’s business over the long term. The only way we can do that is by delivering a strong ROI, month over month, to our client’s business as a result of their presence and rankings in local search. If our clients do not see the value in our local SEO work, we want to make it easy for our clients to cancel. However, we have clients that have been with us now for nearly 10 years!
We have two pricing / subscription models: Monthly & Annual. If you chose the Annual option, then you are agreeing to a 1 year commitment; however, with the Annual option you get 1 year for the price of 10 months… so you get 2 months free with Annual.
How do I get started?
Simply select your desired Local SEO package above, fill out the “get started” form, and then submit the form. Once we receive your information, you will receive a welcome email from us and we’ll move your Local SEO campaign into production. You will then hear from us to schedule your “on-boarding” call where we walk you through our start up process. Don’t worry… the on-boarding calls are super easy and our amazing Account Executives are awesome to work with!
How do payments work?
After you select your plan and fill out the “get started” form, your initial payment will be processed within an hour or so of submitting your form. For the monthly options, your payments are processed every 30 days (monthly). For the annual option, your payments are processed every year (Annual).
How long does it take to see ranking results?
It depends on the current level of location authority for your business in Google local search. Some of our new clients are already ranking in the top 10 local search results when they start, and some are not in the first 100 search results… and some don’t even have a GMB listing. But regardless of your start point, we typically see 80% or more of your gains within the first 60 – 90 days months. The remaining 20% of your gains (i.e. getting into the top 3 or even #1 in Google local) will depend on the population density and how competitive your market is.
Do you offer money back guarantees?
No, we do not offer money back guarantees nor do we offer any guarantee on a specific rankings for your business. For example, you’ll never hear us say “I guarantee we’ll get your ranked #1 in Google local.” And if you ever hear an SEO agency say that, I recommend running away as fast as you can!
Do you optimize my website?
Yes, starting at Tier 7, we include the optimization (SEO) of the homepage of your website along with every key page (main product or service pages) within your website. Our optimization work is world class, and your pages / website will be highly optimized for break out performance in Google search.
