- December 2021 by Jodi CummingsBy far, the best place to find the most high quality meats in the Newport area. The quality is excellent and they have many cuts to choose from. There is also an amazing imported cheese selection as well as artisan foods.

- December 2021 by Jon GutauskasHad an issue with a couple of pork butts I purchased there and the owner called me the next morning to offer a replacement or a refund (TBD is it will actually happen). Great service, but I am weary about purchasing pork shoulders from them in the future. Still giving them a high rating for customer service though.

When I moved here I was at a loss and had no idea where to go for quality meat. A friend suggested Aquidneck Meat Market and now it is a weekly stop for our home. We are never disappointed - quality meat is superb, prepared foods are amazing and the service is outstanding. I also love that I can get my hands on some of the specialty dry goods I am used to. Such a lovely family place - worth standing in line and I will be a customer for life! Keep up the great work and service. I love supporting small businesses :)

I have to admit, I haven't been there in a while because the last time I was there it was twice the size it is now. Anyway, I got a pre-made Roast Beef sandwich. Their roast beef is always DELICIOUS. However, I have to say I was disappointed this time. There were two very thin slices of RB on the sandwich and I couldn't even taste it! Everything else was wonderful, great bread, cheese, SERVICE WITH A SMILE :-), but the amount of the meat was truly disappointing. They used to make the sandwiches fresh for you but when I called I was told they were too busy to do that today. OK, I get that, but if you're going to charge $9 for a RB sandwich, I'd like to be able to taste it. I will definitely try them again because I like to support our local "mom & pop" shops. I just hope I'm not disappointed again.
