December 2021 by Jonathan RobertsonAmazing place to visit. The castle is beautiful and over looks the river below. The fields are filled with school children and have a positive vibe. Great place to take a walk and view the castle.

December 2021 by Risa RoeWe have been touring all over Ireland for 18 days and on our way back to Dublin to the airport, we needed to find a 1_2 day distraction so we stopped into Kilkenny. Now we wish would have put that town on our overnight. The castle was really nice. We highly recommend!!!!

Though we opted for a self guided tour, the staff interacted with us a little at various points and answered questions that had popped up, which added so much to the tour without us having to keep pace with a group.
