We hit all five villages of Cinque Terre in 1 day. We couldn't have done it without our awesome guide & sommelier Fabio. He was full of facts, funny & and a lot of fun to be with. We felt very comfortable with him & coincidently he had lived briefly not far from our home in Jersey. Fabio's knowledge of & connections in each village made everything go so smoothly. Fabio brilliantly kept us ahead of the larger group tours & crowds by utilizing trains & ferry and visiting the villages out of order. By number we did them 3-4-2-5-1, taking the ferry all the way from Monterosso(5) to Reomaggore(1). We sipped espresso, shopped, snapped photos, swirled wine & had a delicious lunch al fresco. Cinque Terre is unique, beautiful & can certainly sell itself. A great guide like Fabio can help you enjoy it to the fullest. He took care of all the logistics leaving us with nothing left to do, but smile, smile smile.

The tour of the Carmignano region with Fabio was fantastic! Kudos to him for being on his toes as the first stop the owner was called away and Fabio had to pull full translating duty with the winemaker who ended up having to lead the tour in the owner's absence. Fabio's knowledge of the region(s) and of wine complemented the wonderful views and history of the vineyards we toured. The wine and food was equally great, so we highly recommend the tour as well as Fabio to guide it.

The wine tour with Enotropea was truly one the top experience we have done in Italy. Our guide Angel was not only enthusiastic but knowledgeable about the wine and vineyards but also the entire region. We were so happy with all the information he was able to provide. The meal provided at one of the wineries, was so Italian authentic.And the wines, well I have not words to describe.We give this tour our highest recommendations! We were so fortunate to find Angel and Enotropea Tours to fully immerse ourselves in Chianti Castles history and its extraordinary wines. Angel secured us by private car from our Hotel in Florence.We visited Castello di Meleto, Castello di Ama with a superb lunch pair with our wines and Castello di Monsanto. The history and the wines were memorable and a once in lifetime intimate tasting experience with the owner of the winery and Angel. Then, our day concluded with a visit a real castle in the middle of Chianti Classico area overlooking the beautiful vistas. Angel is very passionate and knowledgeable about the history and the wines. What a love and appreciation we now have for the Chianti Classico region and the wines because of our new friend Angel! We are looking forward to a future tour with Enotropea and hope to see Angel again soon.
