- December 2021 by Andrew JankowskiI was treated by Dr. Helms for insertional achilles tendonitis, and he worked with me for several months to get rid of my heel pain. I had tried other methods of recovery, but nothing seemed to work. Running is part of my every day life, so not being able to run was very difficult. I was lucky to find Dr. Helms, as he has decades of experience treating achilles problems. He is also a runner with a history of achilles injuries, so he knew exactly what I was going through. We tried conservative methods at first, and when it was clear that those were not getting the job done, we decided to use the EPAT device to fix the heel pain. I am now getting back to running after a course of treatment with the EPAT over the last few months. Dr. Helms and his staff are very kind and welcoming; I enjoyed each of my visits to see him. I would recommend Indy Podiatry to any of my friends and family.

He helped me with a couple very uncomfortable foot issues over the last 15 years with a treatment that no one else was using that really helped with one of my issues. It's made walking - and running - more comfortable. The staff and doctor are some of the most concerned, patient, and friendly in the entire medical profession (I don't say that lightly). It's a joy to be in an office where it is clear that the Doctor and staff have a passion for what they do and empathy for the patient as more than something to medically observe - rather, they treat you with dignity and care. Wouldn't recommend anyone else for Podiatry needs. If I moved out of state, I would travel back for periodic visits.

- December 2021 by Jennifer RothI have tendinitis and two nurses worked with me in fitting me for foot support. They tried a few different types of support for me and different padding options to make sure that I had the best solution. They were friendly, patient and knowledgeable.
- December 2021 by JV AustenDr Helms is kind and his staff is too. Their facility on Meridian has an x-ray lab, so you get results while you are there. Everything was explained to me and stretches were shown to help me with other problems I was having.
