Sweet Cheats took care of my gender reveal cake, cupcakes , macrons and chocolate covered strawberries. Everything was 10/10. I wanted moist cakes that didn’t feel dry and I got exactly that. The decorations were perfect and they worked patiently with me while I was waiting for my best friend to tell them the gender. Absolutely recommend and will be visiting again.

The wedding cake of my dreams!!! So beautiful and serious SO DELICIOUS and moist! We paid extra for delivery and they were reliable and on time. I think a tradition will be to get a piece of our cake every year from Sweet Cheats ?

I purchased a brownie and two cupcakes. Reached into the box to munch on the brownie. OMG. In all my 63 years, I have NEVER had a brownie that was ice cold. I was expecting a prepared today room temperature treat but that was not the case. I also purchased two cupcakes and GUESS WHAT - they are cold. I am very confused why these products are cold. I have gone to lots of bakeries in my lifetime and this is the first time I have had this experience. Are the baked good not fresh and being store to prolong their freshness? Even Publix cake slices are at room temperature. I am VERY VERY disappointed. And the cupcakes are burned on the bottom and dry. They are probably dry because they were refrigerated which can dry out baked goods. I am throwing all of this is the trash. ????? Suggestion: Items that should be at room temperature make sure they are given to customers at room temperature. If this cannot be done, please inform the customer that the product being sold has been refrigerated. This will allow the customer the ability to decide if they want to continue the transaction. ?? In response to owner’s comment: I have two family members who bake for a living. One owns Smooches which is strictly baked goods. In addition, I bake. This was just a suggestions to help your customers make wise decisions. I am use to bakeries that use fresh ingredients: Endulge, Cami Cakes, Southern Sweets, Alon’s Bakery, and Diamond Dust. I still advocate for the consumer to be made aware their goods will be cold. In the bakeries I have listed, I have not purchased a cold baked good I would expect to be freshly baked at room temperature.

One of my best girls gave me a couple of cake pops from Sweet Cheats when she came into town from Atlanta. They were yummy! Can't comment on service or atmosphere, but friend tells me this is her favorite bakery in the neighborhood. The cake pops were beautifully decorated, with swirls of chocolate and spatters of color. The inside cake was moist and very chocolate-y. The chocolate coating wasn't waxy or any of the usual problems you encounter with that kinda stuff, either, so that was great! I look forward to stopping by when I go to visit in the future! I love single serving desserts and these were really solid. :)
