December 2021 by Christina MorganCome to be verbally abused, stay because the food is okay and the cocktails are beautiful. Plenty of paid parking available. I was able to find free street parking a couple blocks away at 11:30 am on a Sunday. I didn't drink but the table across from me had blood orange mimosas and they were generously sized and beautiful. I heard them rave about them. I got the salmon bagel omelette for $20. Hardly any cream cheese but tasty nonetheless. The logistics are a little confusing because you order at the counter but then they check on you like you're at a full-service restaurant. I know some people had tabs so I'm not sure if this is a good place to hang out and drink or not. Jelly was super old and more like a gummy. Staff was very nice except for the greeter. If I had been in New York or Minneapolis I don't think his demeanor would have jarred me. But I have grown accustomed to people being fairly nice here lol. I assume he was trying to be funny and didn't mean anything by it. He did ask me if I had any dietary restrictions so that's nice they look out for you that way. Plenty of extras on the table, like butter, jelly, sweetener and hot sauce. I appreciate not having to ask for those things.

December 2021 by Mark PinskyA delicious gem of a breakfast/brunch spot, on two of my three visits i have trusted the owner to choose for me (pics below, not even sure what i had today but i cleaned the bowl). It’s quirky and cute with a menu that changes daily, and a variety of sparkling drinks and wines. Gorgeous patio as well, highly recommended!

December 2021 by A GodleyHad a lovely breakfast here! The unique little restaurant is so quaint and quirky, loved it! We were immediately greeted upon our arrival and being our first time there and the menu was explained to us. We were also very surprised at what a unique and flavorful menu they have. It was difficult to decide what we wanted to eat. Both our dishes were delicious. I can highly recommend Babs and we will return.

December 2021 by Monique BoeaIf you are looking for a traditional breakfast place, don’t go here. I tried the Tunisia Shakshuka suggested by the guy at the counter who wasn’t very nice. . It was OK. Not a place I would revisit. Update since the restaurant responded below: My review is not about the eggs. I didn’t even try the eggs and yes I did ask them on the side. The food I did try, the main dish was not good. Mediocre food and bad attitude at the counter is not something I would revisit, per my original review.

December 2021 by Andrew NawrothEasily one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The food was incredible. I will have to try the more brunchy stuff next time. I regret not grabbing a few slices of the 'Slap Ya Mama' cornbread to go! The skillful cooks do an amazing job, and the menu is so all-over-the-place that I can't wait to come back and try something new. The decor is also fun and eclectic, and the place is so very cozy. What was really important to me was the coffee. So many places with excellent food will have boring, cheap coffee. This place owns the plantation they source the beans from, and I believe someone local roasts them. What you end up with is a truly great cup of coffee with which you can taste the passion put into it. I bought a bag of their beans when I left and a second when I came back the next day! You won't regret visiting this place. I was in the middle of a Christmas + New Years road trip and only had a couple of nights to check out Midtown, but I spent both mornings here. While I plan to explore a different part of Atlanta the next time I'm around, I will go out of my way to revisit this amazing place. Randy is a genuinely cool dude with excellent taste.
