- December 2021 by Nannette ScraseWonderful experience. My eyelids were hanging so low on my eyes it was seriously effecting my vision. I couldn’t even find my eyelashes. The process was very smooth and stress free from my consultation to the surgery and aftercare. Everyone in the office is a true gem and Dr Neimkin is a true artist. I look great and can actually use eye makeup if I want to. Wow. Thanks to you all ?
- December 2021 by jeanine chiarenzaBeing in the medical aesthetics field myself, my bar is set extremely high and Dr. Neimkin and his staff exceeded that bar. Dr. Neimkin is top notch! His friendly approach, coinciding with his professionalism and medical expertise is welcoming. He exceeded my expectations, and I am beyond happy with my results! Stephen, the PA, was on point with my follow up care. The entire staff works so well together and it shows. This to me is a great indicator of a successful practice. Patient care and results at its finest! J. Boyle
- December 2021 by J KDr. Neimkin is an excellent doctor. Whenever I have any eye problems, Dr. Neimkin fixes them. Over the years, I have had eyelid ptosis and lower lid retraction. He repaired both! I now have eyelash ptosis and will see him soon for laser eyelash restoration. My lashes will tilt back upward instead of into my eyes. When it comes to Dr. Neimkin, I refer to myself as "The patient that wouldn't go away!" He is a highly skilled surgeon and the only one I ever trust with my eyes. He is kind and caring and puts his patients' happiness and comfort above everything else. He has amassed a first-class staff working for him; Alex, Stephen, Jessica, etc., are always friendly, helpful, and attentive. I feel like every employee there has my best interest at heart. I'll finish with an A plus for his bedside manner; despite his status as the best oculoplastic surgeon in Georgia, he's easy to talk to and down to earth.
- December 2021 by Jim SA week ago, I had upper and lower eye lid surgery with Dr. Neimkin. This was not a decision I took lightly and after much research and before making a final decision, I met with who I considered the two best doctors in Atlanta that perform this surgery. Although I was a little anxious the day of the surgery, I should not have been as it could not have gone smoother. But what made this whole experience so easy was the care each of Dr. Neimkin team members played in preparing me for these procedures before - as well as the day of - and afterwards. From Julia, to Alex, to Lindsay, to Rob, and of course Dr. Neimkin – everyone I conversed with by email or in person during this process were very personable and went out of their way to make sure I was prepared and that they met my expectations. Of course, you must do your part and we (my wife and I) followed Dr. Neimkin and his team’s instructions for the before and after to the “t”. If there is one tip, I can share with you it's instead of using the cold compresses on your eyes after surgery, we used frozen bags of peas and corn. They were colder and seem to do a much better job in reducing the swelling. For the 3 days following surgery, we used them from 9am to 10pm everyday (20 minutes on 30 minutes off) and we think that made a huge difference. Although, they say you can stop using them after 3 days, we continued the process 4 times a day for the next 4 days as well, as we felt it was very soothing to the eyes. In closing I would say, if you are nervous or anxious about doing these procedures don’t be. Also, although I needed the upper eye lids done to improve my vision, I am very happy I decided to do both (the lower as well) at the same time.
- December 2021 by Mark BarwickCareful selection of an Ophthalmic plastic surgeon was very important. My eye lids had overcome my eye lashes and I always looked tired. I wanted an awake, natural look. After reading reviews on line and discovering Dr. Neimkin, I asked my dermatologist for a recommendation without mentioning the name of Dr. Neimkin. She recommended Dr. Neimkin based on her experience with his practice. During the initial consultation with Dr. Neimkin, I felt at ease with everyone at the practice and after meeting with and discussing outcomes with Dr. Neimkin, I scheduled the blepharoplasty. The procedure was scheduled within a week, and the results were exactly what I described to Dr. Neimkin. I had no complications and the recovery time was very short. Most of the bruising was gone and I was back to my normal activities within one week. The practice provided great pre-surgery instructions, "what to expect" after surgery and the three follow ups went great. It's now 7 weeks post surgery and the scars are completely healed and my eyelids look great. I would highly recommend Dr. Neimkin and his staff to anyone looking to have a very natural and awake look after a blepharoplasty!
