December 2021 by Jamey RussoAfter having twins I gained alot of weight. With hard work and dieting I was able to lose the weight. However, I could not get my stomach flat. Through a friend I heard about a seperation of the muscle from pregnancy and C sections called a diastasis of the rectus muscle. I researched it and spoke to my doctor about it. He gave me several surgeons names and I spoke to others who had this problem and who they had seen. It was amazing that of about 6 recommendations, including my doctor, Dr. Joseph's name kept coming up. I chose to see 4 of the doctors. After meeting all of them I chose Dr. Joseph. He really impressed me with his knowlege and showed me pictures of patients with similar problems and the amazing after pictures. I am now 4 months after surgery and I cannot believe how good it looks. I went from looking like I was in my third trimester to having a flat tummy. Dr. Joseph and his staff are incredible. He is truly an excellent surgeon.
