The thrill of sitting down with a great book is hard to beat. Best part is, if they don't have what you are looking for they will find it for you and have it shipped to the store.

Even though I was just looking the staff took the time to bring me to the sections and look for books. Once I found the two books I wanted they printed all of the information out for me, so that when I go to buy that books I will be easily able to. Thank you to the staff.

After being cooked up at home for a couple of days due to a cold, today I came to the Tyron store. I asked a woman sales person (Caucasian, a little heavyset and reddish sort of long hair), for information on a particular novel I’m interested in. She seemed annoyed and bothered, was short and pretty much rude, especially because of my accent. After, I saw her taking care of a couple of Caucasian women and she was totally the opposite. I’m Latina, have a doctorate and am a university professor. Ethnocentrism and racism is one of the subjects I cover in my mental health courses. Too bad. I’m not sure I’ll be coming back here.

- December 2021 by MWhen the magazine section is stocked - it’s the best selection for the area. There are times the magazines get low / well flicked through, but when they have been restocked - there’s hundreds of great mags.
