- December 2021 by Dustin C.It's a very nice store and they had a good selection, but it would be nice if they had the complete collections of Manga books and not so much of mixed matching, The staff was very nice and friendly. Had Starbucks during this visit and was great. Have many Disney books about the history and 100th and as well the 50th of WDW.
- December 2021 by Lawrence LandauerSo this Barnes & Noble is basically a Super B&N as Super Target is to Target. It's a deluxe or extended edition. The selection is nice, the aisles are spacious, and if nothing else it's a terrific way to kill some time if you're in town doing something else in the area. There's almost every genre you typically see in other bookstores: Fiction, Young Adult, Travel, Cooking, Current Events, Heath & Fitness, etc. Decent Manga and Graphic Novel selection as well if you're into anime or comics. On my first visit I was curious if maybe I could find the Zohar. That took me to a spacious Religious section, though like any American bookstore, it means 85% of the books are Christian and conservative based. But luckily there was one section carved out for us Jews, Muslims and Buddhists. This Jew thanks you, B&N. You at least gave us some crumbs, unlike other bookstores. There's also a pretty big kids section, board games, lego, but most importantly (for me) a decently sized Music and Movies section. Most other B&N I've been to are smaller sized and do not have a music and movies section so I was pleased and surprised. In this section there are Vinyls, CDs, DVDs and Blu Rays all about. Now obviously it's all relatively newer stuff. Don't expect to stumble upon vinyl rarities and hidden gems. It's current music and artists who have decided to release their music on vinyl. Or, vinyl reissues of older artists and albums. All in all, a pleasant experience the 2 times I've been here. The workers seemed nice and even the people browsing seem to give people space and be respectful of each other. Like all other B&N it has a cafe, but I don't do coffee or bakery snacks so I can't say much on that, seemed nice though. Only real negative I would say are the high retail prices, but that's not a problem with this sole B&N, obviously. That's more of a mainstream brick and mortar franchise chain problem. And you sort of know to expect that, so I can't really go at them for that. But at the same time, I do have to take that into account. However, there are some pretty good deals to be found if you patiently look around. 50% off books, and $4.99 CDs/DVDs are scattered about. One other interesting thing I liked from this store is that some random sections have these post-it divider like tabs attached onto the shelves where you get a little doodle and recommendation or synopsis (presumably from the staff) of some popular titles within the specific genre. In the end, I recommend this spot. High retail prices are the only real negative, but again, it's expected.
- December 2021 by Lu SunMy family loves coming here! We like the cafe, children’s area, nice selection of books, and the toy section is always fun to browse through. The staff is usually friendly too. My only complaint is that it’s a little cold in here, but it’s industry standard. Today we came in when it was very hot (90’s) outside, and the front doors were propped open. Thank you for inviting us in, but keeping double doors open all day in the middle of summer is such an unnecessary waste of natural resources.
- December 2021 by Jonathan MillerThere's not much to complain about the store. The only thing I could really see that could be greatly improved is a cafe area. It's rather small. There needs to be a better hangout area for those of us that just like to come and think in between reading. I enjoy coming here either alone to become inspired with new ideas or with my kids who I always encourage to read. I've never had any issues with the staff bathrooms are always easily accessible and I usually find what I need. I do think there's probably a low selection of books in stock that I would want to see in the personal finance and philosophy areas but that's just me. It's always good to do window shopping in person and then compare it to Amazon prices. It's worth a visit.
- December 2021 by Billie Thompson-RomieNot just a bookstore; they have games, greeting cards, toys, collectibles, personable gifts for friends or loved ones, a great coffee shop & a wonderful atmosphere that shows you to enjoy the store while you shop, sit & read a bit or enjoy a small bite to eat with friends.
