I came to Dr. Richard Davis for a revision rhinoplasty after Dr. Dean Davis in Tampa, Fl butchered my nose cosmetically and structurally. Dr. Richard was thorough, honest, and realistic about expectations. He discussed the risks involved and issues that may come up. My consult was 3 hours long (and I had a second consult too) and my surgery was 7 hours. Dr. Richard cares about his work and gives his surgeries 100 percent, which is not how most surgeons operate. He will dedicate a whole day to one patient, while others do multiple patients in a day to increase their profits. Dr. Richard is the second best rhinoplasty surgeon in the country and his skillset and experience cannot be found elsewhere. If you are thinking about a primary or revision meet with him. Have your primary surgery with him, so you don’t have to see him for the revision! I am 2 weeks post op and my results are better than I could have ever imagined. He has some negative reviews, but deals with the most difficult revisions in the world and some high expectations may not be possible to meet. I also found out many surgeons pay to keep negative reviews off sites like realself. Dr. Richard Davis does not! I had 4 consults with surgeons for my revision and 2 of them recommended seeing Dr. Richard Davis because he is the best. All 4 doctors would have been happy to do my revision, but 2 of them said openly they aren’t as skilled as Dr. Richard Davis and recommended I see him to get the results I wanted. I am so grateful and thankful for their advice, because the online negative reviews were keeping me from seeing him. I wish someone had told me to see Dr. Richard for my primary. His skillset and experience is what you want in a surgeon! Side note- do NOT get Dr. Richard Davis (Pembrokes Pine, Fl) confused with Dr. Dean Davis (Tampa, Fl). See my review on Dr. Dean Davis- he destroyed my nose cosmetically and functionally. He also pays to keep negative reviews off realself, I have tried multiple times to post on there. BEWARE!

An attempted rhinoplasty revision with Dr. Davis left me with a crooked smile and an asymmetric deformity. What’s even more concerning about Davis is him paying realself to remove all negative reviews.. and all of his positive reviews are blatantly fake. This guy is experimenting on people’s noses and ruining lives. Go anywhere else or regret it for the rest of your life.
