I went today to cut my toe nails. What a disaster!. The scissors or whatever name has the instrument was in a box. No sterilized .It was an inept assistant. That cut without any softner on nails I was in pain.. then he went for a podiatrist that told me that they don't softner toe first. Soo I left. And told the receptionist that I went to see a podiatrist not a veterinarian. I Don't recommend the place jm

Don't waste your time and money coming to this place. Better go see a dermatologist. I arrived with a fungus on my big toe, I expressed my concern about how bad it looked and the fear that it would spread to other parts of the body. The Doctor didn't do anything concrete, just. They charged me to do an exam and find out what treatment to follow. The fungus spread to the hands and other parts, and still they did not know a solution 14 days after the first consultation. I had to solve elsewhere, I lost the 300 dollars I paid on this site. Yes, 300, becouse i paid the laser sesion and in the state in which the fungus was, it was not going to work. After calling several times because it was urgent, and I didn't receive my prescription, it wasn't fair to the patients, but to me? I was not a patient? They finally sent it to me, and the prescription was wrong, they sent the 500 mg pill and it only comes in 250, how they couldn’t knew that? It’s a prescription they do all the time! they couldn't deliver it to me at the pharmacy. I had to wait again for them to have time to do it again. So I solved the other way.

This could have easily been 5 stars review. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and takes his time to get to know you. The clerks are also great. Except for the male clerk. He seriously needs help and cannot be left alone. I gave a phone number to a pharmacy close to my house and he sent me to another one 25 minutes away. I called early in the morning and explained that I misplaced my medication and to send a new prescription. I called the pharmacy and was told that the prescription was never ordered. I called the male clerk and he said that his colleagues was supposed to take care of it. He sent the prescription with the wrong dates and now I have to wait another day for his manager. Terrible service from this clerk….

Front desk staff members are extremely helpful and organized, they will assist you with all your problems and questions, including insurance. Doctor is extremely friendly, very confident too which helps provide emotional support and reassurance to those coming for an appointment. Doctor will assist you with all your needs in the most efficient and safe way possible, Doctor will also display several options of medical assistance, in case one does not work as efficient as the patient would like. Would absolutely and definitely recommend to anyone who has the insurance to cover it. Amazing experience.

I received a great treatment from Dr. Zephirin and his assistants for over a year. However I had many issues with the billing process. They never sent bills with pending balances (although they say they did and blame the post office for me not receiving the letters) and never notified me the times when I went to the office that I had an old charge uncovered by my insurance. In two opportunities they sent my information to a collection agency, without notifying me first. It's very curious how the collection agency is very efficient at sending notes over the mail and still I do not receive any mail from Coral Gables Podiatry Center. The second time I received a letter from collection, I decided to discontinue the treatment and find another podiatry in Miami, not because the Doctor but because the way the managed the billing process: This time the collection letter said I had a balance 90+ days old, that later the office confirmed it was 60 days old. Also the letter was threatening saying that my credit score was at risk and also that I was close to pay interests. Again, I never received these statements (That I usually pay right away) from the office or received a call from them. Because of this and the deficient communication, mailing and billing process they have in place, I do not recommend this practice at all. _________________________ Appreciate your response to this review on Feb 15 and the call I received last week, but it does not take away the fact that 1) Your system has a limitation that sends people to collection without giving the the opportunity to be aware that they have old charges, 2) that I had to deal with a very unkind and rude agent over the phone that insisted that the lack of notifications was due to an issue with the mail service (that later someone confirmed was a limitation of the practice system) and 3) that because of that incident, I discontinued my treatment with the practice. Again, thanks to the kind lady who explained to me the issue last week, but please, do not make see your response to this review as if everything was because of a process issue with my insurance, when in reality the severity of this incident was due to a lack of professionalism from the representative of this practice I spoke with on phone with. This gentleman is the main reason I decided to write this review in this place as I do not believe is a fair treatment to a patient that was loyal to this practice for almost a year.
