December 2021 by Jessica HurwitzMy husband has been wanting to come here for weeks, constantly showing me their specials posted online. We decided to give it a try for his birthday the other night. We went in with our two year old, not sure how she’d behave. We were immediately greeted by the owner and introduced to his wife - both absolute sweethearts. The owners enthusiasm was so genuine. He brought my husband a beer on the house for his birthday. My husband had seen a special posted online a few weeks ago and not only did they agree to make it that night despite not being on the menu, they seamlessly accommodated his modification requests. The food was delicious! I had been craving chicken Marsala for months, and this did not disappoint. It came with soup or salad (soup was a big bowl and delicious). The staff was incredible friendly - at the end of our meal, one of the workers brought our daughter a big serving of sherbet and told us he had been thinking about what he could bring her the whole time we were there. These are the touches that make me want to be a returning customer. I’m just excited because I left my credit card there and now I have an excuse to go back so soon!

December 2021 by T GibsonWe decided to try after hearing a few good things and it being so close to where we live. We usually get pizza in Stuart but sometimes that’s a little far. Got a few things tonight but were extremely disappointed by the antipasta salad. We order one every time we get pizza so that’s a must for us. At first it looked like there was no meat, but they place it all on the bottom. That would have been fine if it wasn’t soaked in a layer of water. And it wasn’t even the vinegar mix from the veggies. The cheese was nasty and it just ruined the salad. Not worth the $16 wasted. The pizza and garlic knots were just okay. Both very lightly cooked. Probably won’t be back, but for the sake of your other customers please think about how you serve your salads to go.

December 2021 by Sean MotiseThe restaurant has been there for many years. The service was fast and friendly. The slice of pizza had a crispy crust yet my mushroom topping was just put on top ,raw, then they only warmed up the slice. The eggplant Parm sandwich was sliced way too thin. Almost industrialized and it had way too much mozzarella cheese. The fagioli soup was very good. The menu said it had fusili pasta in it but it was made with fettuccine instead. The water they served was non filtered tap water and it sure did taste like it came out of the faucet.

December 2021 by Audrey FloydToday was the first time I tried GIO and Joe’s pizzeria as well as the cauliflower pizza. I requested that I had a veggie pizza and added eggplant, Italian sausage. It was the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. I picked up some shakers on the side the (garlic, Parmesan even the red pepper flakes) but I did not have to use any of it because the pizza was seasoned to perfection. The cauliflower crust state crispy and crunchy all throughout the day and I was able to eat all of it without having to warm it up at all. The Italian sausage was sliced the long way which gave it such appeal along with the sliced eggplant that was slightly breaded with Italian seasoning. I have found my new pizza home. Not to mention the employees were awesome. Very friendly and kind was the gentleman that made my pizza he make sure my pizza was made just as I had ordered.

December 2021 by Cynthia MacarnoBest pizza since our trip to NY! The crust is TASTY and both crispy AND soft. If you know, you know. Inside was a little hot, but service was good. The calzones are super buttery and crusty outside and just loaded with cheese! A small is more than enough for two people, but we get one with our pizza and have so many leftovers for the next day! Noticeable high quality cheeses used on both pizza and calzone. To boot, our 18” pizza was only $9.99! Go on a Monday or Tuesday for the deal, but honestly full price is not much more. Highly recommend the garlic knots, too!!!
