- December 2021 by Albert Struna - DOCI have been in extreme pain for years and tried to find someone to help me. My first podiatrist would only sell me inserts and shave the calluses on my foot, other doctors and nerve specialists wanted me to take different drugs to fix the problem, then I finally was referred to Dr Montross. The man is amazing in my opinion, he looked at my foot and said I needed surgery, nothing else would fix it. His very professional team took X rays that others did also, but they found all of my toes were extremely dislocated. He did surgery and within three months I am walking better than I have been able to in many years without pain. Thank you and your nurses so very much for all you have done.
- December 2021 by Brett JohnsonI was born with foot problems. I had numerous surgeries and injuries in my childhood. Dr. No trods diagnosed me as needing a Triple Arthrodesis, a serious fusion of the large bones in the foot. I trusted him without researching. 1. He did not fully close the incisions on my foot, leaving open wounds that later became infected. He blamed this on the “closers”. 2. The pain in my foot was worse, even after 3 years. 3. Went to the Steadman-Hawkins clinic in Denver after three years of pain. I was told that the CT prior to Montross’s surgery actually took my foot 5 degrees further out of alignment from my leg than it was prior. Surgery again. Pulled out all his screws and did it correctly. 4. He did damage. He’s now with UC Health. Too bad for them.
- December 2021 by Kevin LNew to Colorado and the spring so I must say finding a good foot doctor was not only intimidating but seemed daunting. Thankfully I found UC health and their facilities. They have an APP that is AMAZING. I was able to search for a preferred doctor through a list by location to find one that worked for me. Dr. Montross was awesome. !! He gave my appointment time, attention and professionalism. I appreciated his attention to my concerns and his follow up on the issues at hand. I am very satisfied with my appointment and would definitely refer him as Surgeon to people looking for a good answer ad outcome.
- December 2021 by William MccordDr Montross did a right foot ankle fusion, tendon repair, heel realignment--an extensive and worrisome surgery for this 69 year old jogger! That was four months ago when my ankle was so deformed I could barely walk. I am now back to a 21/2 hour per day power walk/jog, balance is great, no pain. Dr Montross has met with me 4 times since my surgery---not a PA, but Dr Montross himself. Standard procedure for how he treats his patients. I can't thank him enough for giving my mobility back to me!
- December 2021 by Rose SalcettiBunion surgery on right foot, 5 bones involved, went beautifully, recovery in cast, prevented damage to surgical areas. I used a scooter rather than crutches.Staff was impeccable. Foot fine today, no pain. I referred many friends to him.
