- December 2021 by Madeleine VeithGross Negligence I have never been more horrified by the treatment of a patient. Dr. Simeone showed incredible incompetence, caused intense physical harm, and disgusting narcissism when working with a loved one who is a complex patient. He grabbed the foot of the patient with intense and debilitating chronic pain, consistently over-stated that he would be able to suddenly eliminate her chronic pain, and he did not ask for consent in all interactions with the patient (besides paperwork). While he may have capacity to work with simple patients in simple standard treatments, he lacks skills, competence, being trauma informed, or using a person centered approach to his clients. If your case is more complex, he will only help if he finds your case to be interesting and therefore objectify you. Some doctors heal, others use their man-splaining powers to control your sense of safety in your own body. He is not worth the medical treatment, and I highly advise that you consider care from anyone else.
