- December 2021 by Erin KreningI initially sought care for ongoing bunion and heel pain (I am a RN, so I am on my feet constantly). I received excellent care with a thorough exam, history, and explanation of my treatment options. I saw Dr. Rand at Mirage Podiatry who was patient, listened attentively to my questions and concerns, and provided a thorough explanation of both risks and benefits associated with various options for treatment. Ultimately, I decided to pursue custom orthotics as this was one of the recommendations offered to me, and I wish I had invested in these sooner! I have plantar fasciitis, a bone spur, bunions and bunionettes and since getting the custom orthotics my heel pain related to the plantar fasciitis and bone spur is completely gone. My bunion pain has improved immensely, (which has never happened before). If I could go back 10 years and get these sooner, I would! Dr. Rand explained my options clearly so that I felt educated enough to make informed decisions about my treatment plan. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Nearly a decade ago, Dr. Rand performed a surgery to repair my broken foot - putting a screw in my bone that holds to this day! More recently, after experiencing some heel pain, he diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis. Dr. Rand not only recommended a variety of treatments that helped to take my pain away, he also casted me for custom orthotics to help reduce the likelihood of future pain. In both cases, Dr. Rand communicated in simple to understand terms and ensured I had the right information to make the best decision for my healthcare. I am grateful for Dr. Rand's expertise and healing!
- December 2021 by japhet rodriguezI have been a patient of Dr Rand’s for several years. He is a great Dr. He always fits me in when I am having an issue. I have had to have cortisone injections for my heel pain. He took a ultrasound of the area before applying the injection to prevent hurting other areas. He also numb the area first to make it as painless as possible. I felt better afterward. He is a very professional and caring Doctor. I will recommend him to anyone that is looking to get better from foot discomfort..
- December 2021 by Michael BoydDr. Rand has done surgery on me multiple times, including treating an ingrown toe nail and an emergency surgery after stepping barefoot on a hot charcoal at a Sunday BBQ. He also diagnosed a foot injury after some imaging at his office and got me back to new after a couple weeks in a boot. Dr. Rand has always been more than accommodating and all the procedures have stood the test of time, with my toenail permanently fixed and full feeling coming back to my foot with zero scars. Hopefully you don’t have as many foot issues as me, but if you do, I can speak from experience, Dr. Rand can handle it all. I’ve already recommended his services to multiple friends and family members and will continue to do so!!
