2. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race – Atlanta, GA
If you are looking for a more active way to spend July 4th, consider running in the AJC Peachtree Road Race!
The race begins at Lenox Square and is 10K long for everyone participating.
Want to join the fun? Make sure to register on the AJC Peachtree Road Race website before the Fourth of July!
Those wanting to participate in the virtual 10K race the AJC is also hosting can sign up online as well. The only requirement is that you have to complete the race between July 4 and July 5.
This is a great option for those who enjoy participating in races on holidays!
3. Savannah’s Waterfront Independence Day – Savannah, GA
Enjoy the beautiful views of the waterfront reflecting colorful fireworks this Independence Day in Savannah!
With various shopping and dining options along the waterfront, this is the perfect place to spend the holiday.
