This was our first trip to tailgate the Georgia Bulldogs. The night before the game we explored downtown Athens for some dinner and discovered the Blind Pig Tavern. Wow! Nice! Saucehouse is a barbeque restaurant located off of West Broad Street in Athens. For any meat lover, this is the perfect spot to enjoy some wholesome southern food while watching sports games on their numerous TV’s indoors or their large outdoor screen. For any dawg fan, you will be happy to know that Saucehouse is owned and operated by a UGA alum. On their menu you can find BBQ plates, vegetarian options, delicious sides, and mouth-watering desserts all at a fair price without sacrificing quality. They also offer a full bar so the fun does not stop at just the food.

Saucehouse recently catered an event for my son’s wedding. They were excellent in every way possible. The food was great. The two workers were excellent. Review of Dooley’s Bar & Grill
This bar/restaurant features comfort bar food that is affordable and delicious. I have eaten here twice but also frequent as a bar patron in their upstairs area bar/lounge area. Anything they have with pesto is incredible and one of my favorites I’ve had.
